This event is part of Go Succeed, a new support service from local councils in Northern Ireland that can help to start, grow or scale a business.

This event is for retail business owners and their staff, filled with inspirational insights and quick actionable tricks and tips from a Licensed WorldHost Customer Service trainer.

Participants in this masterclass will learn the skills needed to build a team of effective salespeople, who not only listen to customers’ needs but maximise them. No matter what part of the service industry you represent, helping your staff understand the role they play in selling your products and services is vital.

This session will help you understand how your team can influence customers’ purchasing decisions and the benefits of selling beyond the basics.

During this micro-learning delivery delegates will:

  • be introduced to the 'Sales Cycle'
  • gain practical insight into how to increase the knowledge of their individual team members when it comes to their products, services and product/service bundles
  • be inspired by real-life local examples of effective sales growth powered in local retail businesses
  • be shown how they can go about mapping their customer journeys to identify the moments of truth - the moments that matter
  • discover different ways to close the sale
  • learn how to identify and handle objections in sales
  • uncover the returns from enabling customers to become advocates
  • see how AI and ChatGpt can be utilised to help them craft training information sheets for their team members
