This event is part of Go Succeed, a support service from local councils in Northern Ireland that can help to start, grow or scale a business.

This masterclass will:

• Introduce the realities of self-employment - highlighting both opportunities and challenges so an informed choice can be made.
• Provide a framework to assess personal readiness - covering motivations, skills, finances, and mindset.
• Build understanding of core business fundamentals - customer needs, pricing, cash flow, and operational basics.
• Offer practical tools and exercises to test and shape a business idea.
• Signpost support networks and programmes available in Northern Ireland.

Attendees will gain:

• The ability to evaluate whether self-employment aligns with personal goals and circumstances.
• Greater awareness of individual strengths, gaps, and areas to develop for business success.
