Standard Terms of Business
These Terms and Conditions of Business apply to all services provided by and transactions between thinkpeople Consulting Ltd (hereinafter called ‘the Consultancy’) and the employer client (‘the Client’) and are deemed to be accepted by the Client when the Consultancy begins work on the assignment.
Schedule of Payments
Invoices will be charged on completion of key stages or work pieces, or on a monthly basis as appropriate.
If the client requires any additional services within the scope of this project or other HR related service provision this will be charged at the normal daily rate upon agreement.
Any expenses incurred during the course of an assignment, such as travelling, accommodation or communication costs will be recharged to the Client. Expenses will be agreed with the client prior to expenditure.
Think People will treat all information gained in the course of the project as confidential.
Payment of Fees
All invoices are subject to VAT. All fees (together with VAT) become due for payment 30 days after the invoice issue date.
If an assignment is cancelled after commencement, the client is liable for the professional fees due at the subsequent payment interval.
The Consultancy reserves the right to charge interest on any fees outstanding after the expiry of the period specified above from the date of invoice up to and including the date of payment at the rate from time to time of 3% above Barclay’s base rate.
