In partnership with BBC Northern Ireland and Belfast Harbour, Northern Ireland Screen is proud to present the inaugural Screen Industry Sustainability Showcase. Taking place on Wednesday, 2 October 2024, at the BREEAM Excellent-certified Belfast Harbour Studios, this event is dedicated to empowering the screen industry with evidence-based sustainable best practice that drives environmental responsibility, economic viability, and creative innovation.
As part of the BBC Climate Creatives initiative, the event will feature panels with representatives from Albert, PACT and the team behind Studio Ulster alongside local suppliers who will present their sustainability policies, funding, production support, products and services to the Northern Ireland screen industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions on the editorial and production challenges and opportunities for local producers and broadcasters, all within the context of fostering a greener industry.
This event is open to all professionals working within Northern Ireland's screen industry, including independent producers, broadcasters, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
