This introductory-level course covers the basics of fair recruitment and selection in Northern Ireland, including key principles, legal requirements, and practical ways to prevent discrimination. It is for anyone who plans to sit on recruitment and selection panels, or who is involved in developing equality-related policies such as equal opportunities, harassment and bullying, and recruitment and selection.

• Recognise and prevent discrimination in recruitment.
• Take part effectively in recruitment panels.
• Apply equality-related policies, including equal opportunities, harassment, and bullying policies, to recruitment.
• Ensure recruitment processes are fair and follow best practice.
