Cost: Free

This event is part of Go Succeed, a support service from local councils in Northern Ireland that can help to start, grow or scale a business.

This practical online workshop will show participants how to create and edit engaging videos for social media, with a seasonal focus on promoting Hallowe’en activities. Participants will learn how to plan, film, edit and publish eye-catching content using accessible tools and techniques.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Plan short, engaging videos suited to different social media platforms
  • Film high-quality content using only a smartphone or tablet
  • Edit videos using accessible tools, effects, text and music
  • Create compelling Hallowe’en-themed content to promote events and activities
  • Publish videos confidently and use simple techniques to increase audience engagement

This practical workshop will be delivered by Niamh Cushnahan. Niamh has experience in creating promotional videos for businesses throughout the island of Ireland. She has been growing Purple Dot Media for over 10 years and has produced over 2000 promo videos, for businesses’ websites and social media platforms.
