NI Community Infrastructure Fund competitive grant call information session

he Department for Communities is inviting voluntary and community sector organisations to attend an online information session about a forthcoming competitive grant call.

The competitive grant call will seek to appoint an intermediary funding body from the voluntary and community sector to support delivery of the Northern Ireland Community Infrastructure Fund.

The role will be suited to organisations with the capacity to manage a large grant funding programme on behalf of a public body.

Subject to business case approval and budget availability, the Northern Ireland Community Infrastructure Fund is expected to deliver up to three funding calls between 2027/28 and 2031/32. The department is starting the process now to identify a preferred delivery partner in time for the planned launch in early 2027.

Voluntary and community sector organisations are encouraged to attend or register their interest in receiving further information.
