Market Ready

Cost: Free

This event is part of Go Succeed, a support service from local councils in Northern Ireland that can help to start, grow or scale a business.

Are you a crafter, maker, artist or artisan trader looking to attract more customers and increase sales at local markets?

Join us in the Dobbs Room, Carrickfergus Town Hall, for an engaging workshop designed specifically for artisan market exhibitors who want to take their stall presentation and customer experience to the next level. Whether you're new to markets or a seasoned trader, this session will provide practical tips and simple strategies that can make a real difference to how customers see, engage with and buy from your business.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Boost Your Visibility: Identify simple ways to make your stall stand out in a busy market and use eye-catching displays that draws customers in.
• Master Merchandising & Stall Layout: Showcase your products effectively, create displays that encourage browsing and buying and make the most of your available space.
• Enhance Customer Engagement: Build confidence when speaking with customers, turn casual browsers into loyal buyers and share your story in a way that connects with visitors.
• Create an Outstanding Customer Experience: Add value beyond the sale and deliver memorable experiences that encourage recommendations and repeat business.

Please note as this is an in-person event, the registration numbers for this are restricted. Whilst Go Succeed operates across NI, this event is being hosted by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, therefore should the event reach capacity and a waiting list is created, priority access will be given to businesses based in that council area.
