This event is part of Go Succeed, a new support service from local councils in Northern Ireland that can help to start, grow or scale a business.
In this 90-minute workshop, entrepreneurs and business owners will gain essential insights into comprehending their target customers. By exploring the intricacies of customer needs, preferences, pain points, and building empathetic customer relations, participants will learn to develop products and services that resonate deeply with their intended market. Through interactive exercises and discussions, attendees will discover the significance of empathy in customer relations and explore various techniques for effective customer research.
This workshop is designed to provide entrepreneurs and businesses with tools to access the markets, boost sales, explore new customer base and eventually expand their business.
What participants will gain by the end of this event:
- Clear Understanding of Target Customers: Participants will learn how to identify and define their target audience based on demographics, psychographics, and behavioural characteristics.
- Creation of Detailed Customer Personas: Through group exercises, attendees will develop detailed customer personas to guide their product/service development process.
- Have Insight into Customers’ Needs and Pain Points: Entrepreneurs will gain the ability to discern between customer needs and wants, and effectively identify pain points to address through their offerings.
- Learn The Pathways to Finding New Customers: Participants will explore different avenues and strategies for locating and reaching their target customers, including digital marketing, networking, and market research.
- Learn to Create Interest/ Create Curiosity: Participants will learn how to craft compelling narratives and tantalizing snippets to evoke curiosity among their target audience. They'll understand the importance of sparking interest and leaving space for exploration to drive customer engagement and brand interaction.
Please note, this workshop is taking place in Workspace's Draperstown venue. Please do not travel to their Magherafelt location.
Please note as this is an in-person event, the registration numbers are restricted. Whilst Go Succeed operates across NI, this event is being hosted by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, therefore should the event reach capacity and a waiting list is created, priority access will be given to businesses based in the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area.
