The annual A&B NI Cultural Governance Conference has been a platform for trustee voices and addressing key charity board issues for over a decade. This October, we’re excited to welcome award-winning accountancy firm Harbinson Mulholland as a sponsor.

This year's conference will offer both in-person and online sessions, giving board members flexible participation options. The event aims to foster connections, inspire learning, and share success stories among board members. Attendees can look forward to discussions on current challenges facing charity boards and stories of trustees driving positive change.

Our keynote speaker for the in-person event in Belfast is Kathleen Soriano, a broadcaster, curator, and writer known for her work on SkyArts Portrait and Landscape Artist of the Year. She will lead discussions on arts governance alongside cultural leaders and trustees from the NI arts sector.

Thanks to Harbinson Mulholland, we’re also offering online resources on cultural governance topics, accessible to arts leaders and trustees.

The Cultural Governance Conference is on 3 October 2024, with both in-person and online components launching on the same day.

The training provider accepts no responsibility whatsoever for the subsequent use of the EMS by the delegate or their sponsoring organisation as a result of their participation in the training and shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising to the delegate, their sponsoring organisation or any third parties howsoever that loss or damage arises (save that this provision will not exclude liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence of the training provider).

No variation to these conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing between the authorised representatives of the training provider and the delegate and/or their sponsoring organisation. The delegate and their sponsoring organisation acknowledge that these terms and conditions supersede any written or verbal communication.
