This session will provide an introduction to climate change, carbon emissions and the journey to Net Zero.

We will explore practical approaches to measuring and reducing emissions, along with opportunities for suppliers to support Queen's climate ambitions through lower-carbon products, services and business practices.

At Queen's University Belfast, we recognise that achieving our sustainability ambitions requires collaboration across our entire supply chain. Whether you are an existing supplier or interested in working with Queen's in the future, you have an important role to play in helping us build a more responsible and resilient supply chain. 

We are launching a series of practical online webinars designed to support SME suppliers in understanding sustainability challenges, responding to evolving customer expectations, and identifying opportunities to strengthen their own business practices. 

The programme will provide guidance, tools and resources across three key themes: Carbon and Climate Action, Modern Slavery and Labour Exploitation, and Waste and the Circular Economy. 

Your participation will help you to prepare for future tendering opportunities with Queen’s, as sustainability forms an increasingly important part of our procurement process.
