Business Bites @ Loughry

Cost: Free

Are you a new or established food or drink producer? Come along for a coffee and talk to us and Invest NI and see how to access key data about your product, its potential market and competitors, and hear about the specialist range of advice and guidance we offer.

Entrepreneurs with an idea for a new food or drink product are welcome at CAFRE. The Loughry Campus staff, along with our unique facilities can help you along the innovation pathway. The Food Innovation Centre provides an environment to stimulate, encourage and support the process of food innovation including concept/idea investigation and kitchen scale production.

The recent opening of Invest NI’s monthly Market Intelligence Clinic is another exclusive service available at the campus. The Invest NI Consumer Insights team can source and secure a range of relevant market, retail and shopper/consumer data specific for a business/category turning insights into winning propositions. Is your product acceptable to consumers? – our sensory taste panel facilities will help you find out. Ready to take your idea to factory size production? – no problem. Our Food Technology Centre has all the pilot plant you’ll need. We have experts and equipment to cover all food sectors. Our food specialists provide a “one stop shop” and can provide advice from labelling to ingredients, processing to packaging. Loughry’s resources are world class. If you haven’t seen them yet – please visit us!
