Description
Want to know more about the Net Zero movement and its impact on the future of opportunities within international trade? Join us for this session in collaboration with Allianz Trade to hear why sustainability is important in the future of global trade.

We'll be joined by Piril Kadibesegil, Global Head of Sustainability Office at Allianz Trade, who will provide insights on the links between sustainability and global trade. Piril will cover how we are shifting toward a Net Zero world and its implications for how UK businesses can expand their operations overseas.

Piril will talk about the current challenges that other UK companies are facing in meeting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, along with commentary on the wider regulatory landscape. Data shows that companies that embrace ESG frameworks have been shown to have better long-term financial performance, according to multiple industry reports. Insights from the Allianz Trade Global Trade Survey will also shed light on how other domestic businesses are adapting their ESG strategies within their supply chains.
