Advanced Food and Drink Manufacturing Network
The Advanced Food and Drink Manufacturing (AFDM) Network is a Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association project. It is facilitated by Birnie Consultancy and supported by Invest Northern Ireland through the Collaborative Growth Programme.
The network brings together food and drink manufacturers from across Northern Ireland to:
- access a free 4Manufacturing survey to identify digital transformation priorities
- share best practice
- take part in learning activities such as study tours and site visits to explore new technologies and how they could support their business
- identify funding opportunities for research into the effectiveness of automation and digital technologies
